Do you love the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park? Are you looking for a memento of your visit to our National Park in South Wales? Good news is at hand – Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority are offering a 20% discount on all merchandise in its newly re-launched online shop to coincide with the St David’s Day weekend (Friday 27th February to Sunday 1st March).
This week, Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority re-launched its online shop on the new look destination website www.breconbeacons.org. The shop now offers a brand new range of National Park merchandise with new lines of stock added including new star gazing books and charts, walking guides, and new souvenirs like ‘sheep poo’ air fresheners.
Wayne Lewis, Commercial Manager for Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority said. “We have experienced a great demand for products that help visitors plan their visit before they get here. We specialise in books and guides designed and produced by the National Park Authority which cannot be bought anywhere else. We have experienced a real demand for good value gifts and souvenirs from people who have moved away from the area, but want to keep a connection to the National Park. We hope that this re-launch will offer online shoppers a great opportunity to find the perfect souvenir or gift and hopefully the whopping 20% discount will encourage people to try a few products they might not have had the chance to buy before.”
Mr Ian Rowat, Member for Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority said: “A visit to our new online shop is a must if you want to get the best maps, books and guides for your visit to the National Park. It also offers a full range of gifts and souvenirs for those who have visited and want to pick up the perfect memento of their visit, or for those who live in the National Park and want a gift for friends or relatives that reflects this lovely place. Online shoppers can feel even better about their purchases knowing that all the profits from the online shop support the valuable work of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority”.
In previous years, best-selling items in the online shop have included the pack “Mountain Biking in the Bannau Brycheiniog” with route cards for mountain biking (exclusive to the National Park Authority), Ordnance Survey maps and the “Guide to Waterfalls Country”.
All stock is offered at a 20% discount over the coming weekend and the discount can be applied by using the voucher code stdavid at the bottom of the checkout page.
