Publication Scheme

Background

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) outlines the rights of public access to information held by public authorities. Under the Act, Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (The Authority) along with other public authorities has a duty to adopt and maintain a publication scheme, and to publish information in accordance with the scheme.

Any persons applying for information has the right to be told whether the requested information is held by the authority, and, if it is, to have that information communicated to them, subject to any exemptions.  This publication scheme outlines the classes of material that are currently published, and held by the Authority.

Please note that although most information is available on our website, if you need to request paper copies the Authority may make a charge for providing this information.

The scheme below lists information under seven broad classes.
