Diolch: for protecting our National Parks

Campaign toolkit for stakeholders — brought to you by National Parks Wales

National Parks Wales is a collective term for the three National Parks of Wales: Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Snowdonia National Park.

Over the last two years, all three National Parks have seen huge visitor figure increases — likely as a result of people looking for outdoor escapes during and after the pandemic.

However, we’ve found that many of these are new audiences, unfamiliar with the guidance encompassed by the Countryside Code.

To tackle this ahead of the busy summer season, we have launched a joint campaign — “Diolch” — which will strive to educate and thank visitors for behaving responsibly in Wales’s National Parks.

Covering everything from responsible dog walking to rules around barbecuing; camping; littering; and even parking etiquette, we hope that the campaign will encourage audiences from across Wales and beyond to help us in our mission of protecting the environment and communities of Wales’s National Parks.

But we need your help.

Below is a link to a downloadable toolkit of campaign graphics and bilingual social media captions — that you are welcome to share across your social media platforms and/or websites, whether you work for a public sector organisation or a local business.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Together we can protect and preserve the beauty and wellbeing of Wales’s National Parks.
