The National Park Authority offers an annual work experience programme and this year the programme runs during the school summer holidays from 15th – 18th July 2019
The Authority takes Year 10/11/12 students who follow a varied programme and experience different aspects of the National Park Authority’s work. We also offer the chance to obtain a John Muir Award.
Any students that are interested in taking part in the full programme can write to the Education Administrator at Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Plas-y-Ffynnon, Cambrian Way, Brecon, Powys, LD3 7HP telling us why you would like to join the work experience programme. Contact us as soon as possible, as we receive many applications for work experience every year and the places are filled on a first come, first serve basis. We look forward to hearing from you!
Here is a short video link which shows some of the work done by students in 2012: The National Park’s Work Experience Students
Any students interested in taking part in the full programme should email Lora Davies on firstname.lastname@example.org stating why you would like to join the work experience programme and any interests or experience in the outdoor environment.
