LOCAL ACCESS FORUM
INVITATION FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST IN BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE FORUM
The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority is recruiting members to its statutory Local Access Forum. Appointments will be for a 3 year period.
The function of the Forum is to advise the National Park Authority and others, as to the improvement of public access to land in the area, for the purposes of open-air recreation and the enjoyment of the area.
The Forum will meet at least twice a year and will probably meet more often. It is important that members can attend all meetings, as deputies will not be permitted. These are unpaid positions but Forum members will be able to claim reasonable expenses.

Skills in Action -Trainee Warden (x4)
These exciting new training posts are a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the conservation and enhancement of natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage. There are 3x placements working at the National Park Authority and 1x placement with Torfaen County Council. Your main duties will include practical hands on work based experience in conservation / estate management.
To meet staff and find out more about the programme we will be holding a ‘drop-in’ Open Day on Saturday 30th September 2017 (10:30am- 2:30pm) at the National Park Visitor Centre, Libanus, Brecon.
Salary £14,466 per annum pro rata (£7.50 per hour)

Geopark Marketing Officer
Be part of an international project implementing the Atlantic Geopark Interreg V Atlantic Area programme.You will have a strong interest in the development of rural sustainable tourism and the enthusiasm and ability to engage in partnership working with our trans national partners. Experience in project management in tourism is essential to develop and successfully market the project and work collaboratively within the Tourism Team.

Sustainable Tourism Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide financial and project administration support to our Tourism Team in the implementation of Atlantic Geoparks and other Programmes. You will have experience in financial administration particularly the preparation of grants claims and monitoring reports.
£18,746 – £20,138 per annum, pro rata
