Celebrate local food this October

This year Saturday 4th October marks the 11th anniversary of the Bannau Brycheiniog Food Festival - an annual event showing off local food and suppliers in the landscape where it is produced.

National Park over the moon to host star gazing events

The nights are drawing in and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority is planning to make the most of the spectacular dark skylines by hosting a series of star gazing evenings at the National Park Visitor Centre and Craig-y-nos Country Park.

Bannau Brycheiniog launch Sustainable Design Guide

The new Sustainable Design Guide will be used from 1st October 2008 to ensure all future building in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park comply with the Park’s sustainable goals and contribute to protecting its landscapes.

Park introduces new planning procedures

As part of the drive to provide a more efficient planning service, Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority will be introducing a new national standard planning application – known as 1APP – alongside best practice procedures for validation of all applications.

Chief Executive suspended for two months

The Chief Executive of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority (BBNPA) Christopher Gledhill has been suspended for an initial period of up to two months.
