IT Services Update

Following on from the cyber incident the Authority suffered over the 12/13th September 2020, we would like to update you with regards to our planning services. 

Whilst the Authority’s website is now accessible, public access to previous planning applications and those currently being processed by the Authority is not possible.  This means that we are unable to progress current planning applications or register new applications at the present time. We are working hard to rectify the situation but in the meantime we are having to pause decisions on existing applications. 

If you have recently submitted a planning application, or already have one being processed by us, we will continue to deal with these as best as we can. Please note the Planning Portal is operational and we are storing those applications received for upload when the system is available. Likewise, if you want to engage in the planning process as a third party, or consultee, please continue to do so and we will hold your representations on file. 

We are following our business continuity plans and our IT team are working hard to resolve this issue as soon as possible and will provide further updates as we are able to.
